Privacy policy
The short version
Reading the site asks nothing of you. We only hold personal data when you apply, when you become a member, or when you use one of the free tools. We do not sell it, we run no advertising trackers, and the main site sets no cookies.

NotaSportsGuru is responsible for the data described here. For anything about your data, write to support@notasportsguru.com.
What we collect and why
Membership application. The form on the apply page sends us your name, email, location, age, how you heard about us, your bankroll range, horizon, sports, staking method, your written answers, the consent tick and the time you sent it. If you arrived through a tagged link, it also sends the campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, gclid or fbclid) and the page you landed on. We use this to decide on your application and reply to you. Legal basis: steps you asked us to take before a possible membership.
Members. We keep your email address and the date your membership ends, so we can send the daily picks and membership emails and let you unlock the members’ pages. When you unlock, your email is turned into a one-way code (a SHA-256 hash) on your own device and compared with a list of codes. The email itself is not sent when you unlock. Legal basis: the membership agreement.
Emails you send us. We keep the conversation so we can answer it. Legal basis: your request.
Parlay Analyzer. The bet slip images you upload are sent to an AI model to be read and are not stored by us. To stop abuse of this free tool we count uploads per IP address per day; that counter deletes itself after two days. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the tool available.
Visits. We use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. Our host also keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and browser) to run and protect the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Kelly. The Kelly bet tracker has its own account, cookies and data. It is covered by the Kelly privacy notice.
Who else handles it
Only the services that run the site for us: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Formspree (delivers the application form to our inbox), Google (our email inbox and the private sheet with the member list), Resend (sends member emails), Anthropic (reads uploaded bet slips) and Upstash (the two-day upload counter). Some of them are based in the United States and work under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, team and player images from ESPN, results data from public Google Sheets and a chart library from jsDelivr. Like any web request, these see your IP address, but we send them nothing about you.
How long we keep it
Applications: up to 24 months after we reply, or sooner if you ask. Member email: for the membership and up to 24 months after it ends, or sooner if you ask. Emails: up to 24 months. Upload counter: two days. Analytics: aggregated counts only.
Cookies and storage on your device
The main site sets no cookies. It uses your browser’s own storage for a few things that stay on your device: the campaign tags of your visit (cleared when you close the tab), a copy of an application you sent, your members’ unlock (the hashed code and end date), your Parlay Analyzer history and daily count, and the position of the scrolling banner. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, object to how we use it, or get it in a portable format. Write to support@notasportsguru.com and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live; in Portugal that is the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
Age
This site is about sports betting and is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly keep data about minors and will delete it when told.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
