How grading works

Every price on your slip hides a bookmaker margin (the vig) that a parlay multiplies with every leg. The model turns each leg into a win probability, strips the standard margin and rebuilds the ticket at its fair price: an A is priced close to fair, an F pays the book. Fair prices are estimates from typical margins, so the same slip can grade differently across books, and same-game legs are flagged because correlation shifts the true combined odds.
